We’re Autumn and Dom, the trainers behind Your Hero Dog Training.
Our story began with our own dog, Hero, a reactive German Shepherd who taught us that even the hardest moments can turn into the strongest bonds. His journey showed us that patience, structure, and empathy can transform chaos into confidence.
Now, we’re honored to help other owners do the same by finding peace, progress, and partnership with their dogs.
With over nine years of experience, we’ve worked with dogs of every age and temperament, from wiggly puppies learning the basics to serious behavioral cases. Every program we create is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, your goals, and your lifestyle.
Our mission is simple: to make training clear, rewarding, and sustainable for both ends of the leash.

Your trainer will assess your goals, create a structured plan, and guide you through a hands-on process in your home and in your dog’s day-to-day world, teaching you how to communicate clearly and confidently with your dog while creating real-world results that carry into your daily life, with continued support along the way.

An immersive, results-driven training experience where your dog lives with a professional trainer and practices daily in real-life environments. We build strong obedience, clear communication, and the right mindset through structure and consistency, then guide you through a smooth transition home so you can confidently maintain and build on your dog’s progress.

Train alongside other dedicated owners in a supportive, structured environment that builds confidence and real-world skills. Our group classes are designed to help teams at every stage, from refreshing already-learned behaviors to building new skills such as puppy foundations, e-collar communication, off-leash reliability, and confidence around distractions and reactivity.

Consistency is key to success in training, but as we all know, life happens. Whether it’s work, illness/injury, wanting a trainer boost on a command, or just needing a day off, we’re here to help. Our in-home day training visits provide hands-on training while you’re away, with your trainer working directly with your dog in your home and daily environment to build skills and reinforce structure where real-life behaviors happen.

Whether you’re across town or across the country, you can still get personalized training help from Your Hero Dog Training. Through live video sessions, we’ll discuss your dog’s behavior, demonstrate techniques, and coach you step-by-step as you work with your dog in real time. Perfect for troubleshooting, learning new skills, or continuing progress between in-person sessions.

Standard boarding is available exclusively to our training clients, providing care in a calm and structured home environment with someone your dog is already familiar with. Stays are $95 per night, with optional $50 training refreshers that can be used to maintain consistency while you’re away or to advance any skills of your choice.
